Welcome to the ‘All Around’ Pages

Chris & Felice Wedding

The ‘engagements’ – FUN! The ‘getting ready’-EXICITING! The ‘wedding’-A.MA.ZING!

It was a gorgeous day – sunshine, 35-40(ish) degrees, amazing ski resort, fantastic venue, intimate setting, perfect couple! Felice is one of those people who just makes you love her from the start. She is easy-going, funny, and sweeter than cotton-candy! ;) One of my very most favorite things about shooting weddings is the time I get to spend with the bride and her girls before-hand. Getting ready. So many nerves, so much excitement, lots of anticipation.  Making sure that everything is perfect! And with Felice – it was!

She was gorgeous! Besides Chris forgetting her ring and making his pregnant sister run and get it, the ceremony… awesome!! It was intimate – only close family members – a friend or two. They wrote their own vows. They were magical. And beautiful. And sweet. And I can’t lie – made me tear up for a second. I just LOVE when couples write their own vows. Usually I am close enough that I also get to hear them. They make me reflect on my own relationship and from their vows, I silently promise to renew some of mine.

The luncheon followed the ceremony. Amazing details put in by Kimi and her staff at Kimi’s Mountainside Bistro. One of the most perfect locations I can think of for an event such as this. The food was divine! The ambiance was fitting. Kimi made sure everything was perfect! I certainly hope I get the opportunity to work with her again.

Following the lunch – I got to sneak away with Chris and Felice for some photo time. We had soo much fun! We were able to ride the ski lift to the top of Solitude and get a few shots in before the chair lift guys kicked us off cuz they wanted to go home. Imagine that!

All I can say about this day was pure perfection from every detail!

Chris and Felice – THANK YOU! For letting me be part of this memorable day! I am sure I wore a smile for the entire day. I ADORE you two and wish you the very best in life. I know you’re off to a great start! Love you both!

Mallory – Mallorah….

Mallory — my cousin Mallory! I don’t think they come any cuter! This girl is downright FUNNY! She has the most hilarious blog ever – she writes just like she talks (which is also hilarious).  I love her to bits and can’t stand it how lucky I am to have someone so funny in my life! She graduated  in June (I know…I’m disgustingly behind!) – so I just wanted to say “Way to GO!”

Changing Prices & Referal Program

With the new year upon us, it is once again time for me to re-evaluate my business and the direction it’s headed. I have truly enjoyed every shoot I’ve been on with you and hope that I will get to continue capturing your family moments through the coming year. It has been a tough decision for me to come upon a pricing structure that is fair to me and still affordable for you. If you would like to read a great article about photographers pricing, here’s a link that might help: Why Do Photographers Charge So Much?

So…without further ado – I give you my new pricing structure

Family & Portrait Sessions (up to 8 people): $200 or 50 referral credits

Senior Sessions: $225 includes 50 wallet-size photos (add-on’s available: cards, announcements, etc. for additional fees) or 50 referral credits

Weddings:
Package 1: $750
Package 2: $1350
Package 3: $1950

Pricing

Please keep in mind that you will still get the disc of edited images with all sittings and wedding packages.

I will also still offer enlargement/canvas prints.

Now, for the best part of this whole thing!!! I am going to start issuing referral credits! The greatest compliment one can give me is sending referrals my way. For every session that takes place from a referral you have sent me, you will receive 10 referral credits. You can use these credits for new sessions. So, in order to get a completely free photo session, just send me 5 referrals (50 credits) and I’ll send you a certificate for your free session! For any weddings you send my way — you will automatically get a free session or 50 credits. I want to thank you for the referrals you send my way, it helps my business grow and for that, I am extremely grateful!
