Welcome to the ‘Hope’ Pages

Hope

Ever since I started taking pictures as an NILMDTS photographer, I’ve REALLY wanted to start my own non-profit and do cancer patients. Often times, it strikes suddenly and you may only be left with a few short weeks. I want to capture those last few weeks for families to always have and remember their loved ones by. Or, you might catch it early and be able to fight it and beat it. Remembering these hard times through pictures serves as a reminder of where we’ve been, what we’ve gone through, and how strong we really are. So, as a start to “Images of Hope” I wanted to share these with you.

She is one strong lady! She found out she had Leukemia and has been a champ through it all. Go check out her site – she’s AMAZING! Here are a few images. I didn’t do much editing because I wanted her to remember what it all looked like. HopeHopeHopeHopeHopeHopeHopeHopeAt the hospital, they have this HUGE wall/corridor that people can write notes on. From floor to ceiling there are just notes – here are some written directly for Brit, and some that I just felt the need to take a picture of.

I though this one was especially funny – there’s a silver lining in everything, right?Hopecollage1

Britney – THANK YOU so much for allowing me the opportunity to come and share an evening with you. You are an amazing source of strength! This was an experience I will not soon forget!
